Delta County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot verify a custody status, release a person, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Direct those requests to the office that created or holds the record.
Where to Start
For a Delta County booking, custody, transfer, or local-record question, start with the sheriff. The operational office is Delta County Sheriff's Office, 200 W. Bonham St., Cooper, TX 75432, at (903) 395-2146. Written public-information requests go to the records lobby at 200 W. Dallas Avenue, Cooper, TX 75432, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or to asuarez@deltacountysheriff.org. The county says a request without an offense number, call-for-service number, or jailing date may carry a $5 search fee. No booking-photo fee was published, so ask the records unit about any applicable charge.
The right contact changes with the record's custody state and purpose:
- Use the Delta County records path for a local booking record, requested photo, custody question, or the verified newspaper fallback.
- For a warrant or court question, contact the appropriate court. The Justice of the Peace is listed at 200 W. Dallas Avenue, Cooper, with (903) 395-4400 ext. 232.
- For a county or district case result, contact the county and district clerk. The research found that complete criminal records are not all online.
- For a person sentenced to state prison, use the official TDCJ offender search, not the county booking route.
- For federal sentenced custody, use the BOP inmate locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator when applicable.
- If DCSO confirms a transfer under the Delta-Hopkins agreement, ask it for the current physical-custody location. A transfer does not change which office created the original booking record.
